Internal consultants are being asked to take on more and different types of assignments, often requiring a high degree of influence but little to no direct control. There is also a critical requirement to carefully facilitate early conversations to ensure the presenting problem and resources required are clearly understood. An additional challenge many internal consultants face includes being perceived (or perceiving themselves) as a “pair of hands” or service provider rather than a true business partner to the clients they serve.
This workshop gives consultants the skills, tools, and processes they need to support their transition to a trusted advisor. Our Internal Consulting with Ease workshop employs a hands-on, experiential learning format. It utilizes participant’s actual client scenarios through role play and group discussion. The result is a fast-paced and practical session that helps participants build their consulting skills one step at a time. In two days, participants will understand how to increase their value to their clients and organization and have an array of excellent tools that they can immediately apply in their very next client meeting.

Note About Payments
We do not offer the ability to pay online so that we can ensure you are granted any discounts you or your organization may be eligible for. You will have the option to secure your spot in the class by paying with either a credit card or by Interac e-Transfer.
Public Workshop Participant Cancellation Policy (In-person classrooms only)
If you cancel more than 20 business days before the start of a workshop, you will be eligible for a full refund.
If you cancel 15-20 business days before the start of a workshop, Facilitation First will allow one courtesy transfer to be used in a future public workshop of equal or lesser value. This must be used within 12 months. A $150 per participant administration fee will apply for the courtesy transfer and will be charged at the time of the cancellation. For cancellations received less than 15 days before the start of a workshop or if you fail to attend, neither a refund nor a courtesy transfer will be issued.

If you cancel more than 5 business days before the start of a workshop, Facilitation First will allow one courtesy transfer to be used in a future virtual public workshop of equal or lesser value. This must be used within 12 months.
Our training is offered on-site, right where you are. It is one of the most cost effective and convenient ways for group training. Our workshops can be targeted or customized to meet your specific needs. An in-house session also enhances the relationships between learners, laying the foundation for partnerships that go far beyond the session.

If you have large populations of staff who lead meetings, Facilitation First certifies on-site client facilitators to teach our content and adapt it to your organization’s needs at a fraction of the cost required to pay external facilitators.
Certifying your in-house trainers in our programs will also enhance process facilitation expertise, providing more insight into facilitating meetings. Not only are you enhancing trainer competency, you are developing a cadre of internal facilitators!
